Our Mission

Finding career fulfillment is like climbing a mountain; it is a challenging endeavour. It’s not simply a matter of picking any old mountain and climbing it. Not every mountain is appropriate for every person. To choose the right mountain for you to climb, you first need to go through a process of self-examination, considering your fitness level, the team you have to work with (or lack thereof), the tools and supplies you have available, etc. Every year, many people get serious injuries and even die, from attempting to climb Everest and other large, unforgiving mountains because they don’t have the proper fitness levels or the right team and supplies.

It’s the same when you’re trying to find a career path. If you choose a career simply out of convenience, you often end up in a job that isn’t satisfying. This could be because you’re under-qualified and doing substandard work or you’re over-qualified and are continually bored. On the other hand, it could be because your personality doesn’t fit into that type of work place or because the work itself doesn’t interest you enough.

As career counsellors, it is our mission to take our clients through a thorough process of self-examination to find a career that is in line with their interests, skills, values, and personality. We help people with essential career planning, helping them plot out what steps they need to take to be ready to pursue their career of choice. When they’re ready to go after jobs, we help them with career search strategies and with resume writing & interviewing skills. And we continue to work with all our clients every step of the way until they get the right career for them.
