Are you looking to get the right job for you in a new career? One that doesn’t just pay the bills, but actually rewards you and gives you true satisfaction?

If so, we’ll get you there. The key is self-awareness, knowing who you are, what you want, and being able to communicate it in an articulate and memorable way.

Our 12-week*, One-On-One Career Guidance Program teaches you exactly that. Here’s what you can expect.

Stage 1: Who Am I?

  • An Analysis of Your Past Accomplishments. Analyze the accomplishments that you’ve enjoyed achieving, so you can determine why you were successful. Through this, you can identify the things that make you both motivated and satisfied.
  • An In-depth Skills Assessment. Discover what unique skills you have to offer the world, remembering that just because you’re good at something doesn’t mean you have to do it.
  • Personal Character Profiling. Determine the way you are with your friends, family, and at work. You’ll discover whether the way you see yourself is the same as the way the world sees you.
  • An Interest Inventory. Learn what you’re truly passionate about and why. You’ll find commonalities in the things that you enjoy so you can see the big picture of what you want. Also discover what does NOT interest you to avoid the frustrating process of trying to get what you DON’T want.
  • A Values Assessment. Define what your values really are and see how they line up with your accomplishments. This an integral step toward finding a new career and the right job in it.
  • A Relationship Analysis. Determine what characteristics in people you like and dislike. Find out what kinds of people truly inspire you so you can bring yourself closer to them. Find out what people drive you crazy and learn to avoid them. You’ll also find which environments you’ll thrive in.
  • Your Own Personal Allegory. At the end of stage one, you’ll figure out the short-form allegory, your own unique story about you and what you want to do. This story will serve as a reference-point, which you can use when making career decisions.

Stage 2: Achieving Your Career-Goals

  • Informational Interviews. The next stage is to talk to people who are experts in the field of your choice – the ones who are already in that new career you’re considering. You’ll get perspective on whether you still like the job as it really is, or if you’re more interested in your perception of it.You may even be hired by one of your interviewees – this has happened many times in the past.
  • Interview and Resume Coaching. From the program, you’ll discover a newfound confidence, the confidence that comes from knowing exactly who you are, what you want and being comfortable in your own skin. You’ll be ready to walk into the interview for your dream job in your new career and make a powerful impression they won’t soon forget. To cover all the bases, you’ll be navigated through the interview process and given direction on resume writing.
  • Reaching the Goal Together. When you’re ready to go out and find the right job in your new career, you’ll have a partner who is as committed to finding it as you are. You’ll be held accountable week in and week out. Whether the job-finding process takes 3 days or 6 months, the program doesn’t end until you reach your goal.

Stage 3: Graduate Program

  • Quarterly Meetings. Four times a year, you’ll have the opportunity to attend meetings with other graduates held by our career counseling team with talks designed to help you stay motivated and on track with your career goals. You’ll be able to connect with like-minded people who will encourage you. Plus, these meetings are great networking opportunities.
